How it works

Drop your files into the box above. Skypost puts them in a private folder and gives you a password made of three everyday words. Send those words to the person you want, by text, by phone or even out loud.

They go to skypost.co.uk, type the words and download. Neither of you needs an account or an email address. See every detail on the features page.

Why three words?

Long links get mangled in messages and are easy to forward to the wrong person. Three words are easy to read out and hard to guess, because each folder's words are picked at random from a large word list.

Files are encrypted with AES-256 before they are stored, and each folder has its own key. Read how on our security page.

What you get for free

Free folders take files up to 200 MB each, up to 500 MB per folder, and stay open for 7 days. Then they delete themselves, so nothing hangs around.

Need more? Pro gives you 5 GB per file and 30-day folders from £7.99 a month. Compare plans on the pricing page.

Better than an email attachment

Most email services stop at 20–25 MB, and big attachments bounce. Skypost lets you send large files and full-quality photos and videos, or send files without email at all.

Questions people ask

Is Skypost really free?+

Do I need to sign up or give an email address?+

No. You can upload and share without an account or email. An account is optional and lets you manage and archive your folders.

How does the person I send to get the files?+

They go to skypost.co.uk, type the 3-word password you gave them, and download. They don't need an account either.

What is the biggest file I can send?+

200 MB per file on the free plan, 5 GB on Pro and 20 GB on Business.

How long do my files stay online?+

Free folders last 7 days, Pro 30 days and Business 90 days. Free folders left empty are removed after 24 hours.

Are my files secure?+

What kinds of files can I send?+

Almost any: documents, PDFs, photos, videos, music, design files and zip files. They are sent as they are, with no compression.
